Time today is accident ridden. Accidents occur every minute either inside or outside in any form or other. Keeping in view of this, the college has started Youth Red Cross Society in response to Letter No. 380(6) YRC Dtd. 17.08.03 from the Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Bhubaneswar with 35 volunteers from the academic year 2003-04. It functions under th Chairmanship of the Principal and one faculty member as In-charge officer.

Similarly, Scout and Guide functions under the Chairmanship of the Principal and a faculty member.

The mission of Youth Red Cross and Scout & Guide is to render service to the destitute, diseased, and helpless and people in disastrous situations. In addition to this, its motto is to save life by donating blood generously.
